Tibet is always a popular tourist destination in China, while the flights to Lhasa are always in short supply. China Tibetan Airlines started operations on July 26, 2011, and more scheduled flights to Lhasa are available, including three flight services between Ali (or Nagri) and Lhasa, between Chongqing and Lhasa, and between Chengdu and Lhasa. Lhasa↔Ali

The flight number is TV9807. Every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, the flight takes off from Lhasa Gonggar Airport (altitude 3,700 meters or 12,100 feet) at 09:40 and arrives at Ali Kunsha Airport (altitude 4,274 meters or 14,022 feet) at 11:20; and then the flight returns to Lhasa at 12:10 and the arrival time is 13:10.

Lhasa↔Chongqing

The flight number is TV9813 and is available in every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. The flight departs from Lhasa Gonggar Airport at 10:00 and arrives at Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport at 12:10; and then the flight returns to Lhasa at 13:20 and the arrival time is 16:00.

Lhasa↔Chengdu

The flight between Lhasa and Chengdu is available every day. There are two flight numbers for this flight service: TV9804 (which is available in Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday) and TV9808 (which is available in Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday). Every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, flight TV9804 takes off from Lhasa Gonggar Airport at 17:00 and arrives at Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport (成都双流国际机场) at 18:50, and then the flight returns to Lhasa at 19:10 and the arrival time is 21:10. Every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, flight TV9808 takes off from Lhasa Gonggar Airport at 14:30 and arrives at Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport at 16:20; and then the flight returns to Lhasa at 18:50 and the arrival time is 20:50.
