The China Import and Export Fair ----  Canton Fair is the largest biannual China trade fairs  held in Guangzhou. Canton Fair Complex  the largest modernized exhibition center in Asia, is located in Pazhou Island, Guangzhou, China. It is a perfect integratation of human and ecological concerns and high technology and intelligentization, sparkling the world like a shining star. The complex covers a total construction area of 1,100,000 M2 with the indoor exhibition area of 338,000 M2 and the outdoor exhibition area of 43,600 M2. The Area A has an indoor exhibition area of 130,000 M2 and an outdoor exhibition area of 30,000 M2, the Area B has an indoor exhibition area of 128,000 M2 and an outdoor exhibition area of 13,600 M2, and the Area C has an indoor exhibition area of 80,000 M2.

General Introduction

China Import and Export Fair, which is also commonly called "Canton Fair", was established in the Spring of 1957, and held in Guangzhou twice a year, in spring and autumn, ever since. During its 54-year history it has become a comprehensive international trade fair with the longest history, most prestigious, largest scale, most variety in commodities, most attendees and best deals in China. The name "Canton Fair" was officially changed to "China Import and Export Fair" in the 101st session, in April 2007.

China Import and Export Fair is made up of 48 trade delegations, including thousands of foreign trade corporations, manufacturing enterprises,  research institutions, foreign-invested/foreign-owned companies and private enterprises, most of them have good reputations and market strength.

China Import and Export Fair has very flexible forms of participation. For example, there is an online trade fair besides traditional negotiations beside the samples. The fair leans towards export, though import business is also done here. Apart from the above-mentioned forms pof participation, various kinds of technological/financial communication and coordination, commodity inspection, insurance, transportation, advertising and consultancy activities are all carried out in flexible ways. Business people from all over the world gather in Guangzhou for business information sharing and friendship development.

Getting there:

1.Main Transportation Choice

Metro:You can arrive at the Canton Fair Complex directly by taking Metro Line 8 and get off at the

Xingangdong Station or the Pazhou Station.

Taxi:The minimum fare is 7 RMB(including 2.3km), and 2.6 RMB per km, and you have to pay 2 RMB for

additional fuel charge.

Canton Fair Buyers enjoy free shuttle bus or hotel bus.

2.Main Transportation Guide

From Guangzhou Baiyun Airport:

By taxi:About 40 km

By Metro:250 meters away from the Airway Express Area A, arrive at the Exit of the South Airport Station

of the metro, take the    Metro Line 3(South Airport Station -Tiyu Xi)(12 stops) to Tiyu Xi Station,

interchange with Line 3 at Tiyu Xi Station(Tianhe Coach Terminal- Panyu Square)(3 stops) to Kecun

Station, then intercharge with Line 8(3 stops) to Xingang Dong Station or Pazhou Station, Exit A.

From Guangzhou East Railway Station:

By taxi:About 10 km

By Metro:20 meters away from the Guangzhou Railway Station, arrive at the Exit G1 of the Guangzhou

Railway Station of the metro, take the Metro Line 3(Guangzhou Railway Station -Tiyu Xi)(2 stops) or Metro

Line 1(2 stops) to Tiyu Xi Station,interchange Line 3(Tianhe Coach Terminal-Panyu Plaza)(3 stops) to

Kecun Station, then intercharge Line 8(3 stops) to Xingang Dong Station.

From the hotels Take free shuttle buses
